By accessing or using Sum2Do ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Users under 18 may not access 18+ restricted meetups or activities. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the eligibility requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to share your login information or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may change your username once every 7 days. Usernames must not impersonate other individuals, contain offensive language, or violate any applicable laws.
You agree not to: - Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users - Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content - Create meetups with the intent to harm, scam, or deceive - Use the Platform for illegal activities - Spam, solicit, or send unsolicited commercial messages - Circumvent safety features, verification systems, or bans - Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform - Upload inappropriate, violent, or sexually explicit content Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination at our sole discretion.
Sum2Do facilitates connections between users for in-person athletic activities. We do not organize, supervise, or attend meetups. You participate in meetups at your own risk. We strongly recommend: - Meeting in public, well-lit locations - Informing someone you trust of your plans - Using the Safety Check-in feature - Setting up an emergency contact in your settings - Reporting any concerning behavior immediately We are not liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or disputes that arise from meetups arranged through the Platform.
Identity verification is voluntary but may be required for certain features (such as hosting 18+ meetups). By submitting verification documents, you confirm they are authentic and belong to you. Submitting fraudulent documents will result in immediate account termination.
PAID ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES Some hosts charge to attend an activity they organize, and some members pay others to perform a task or service. In every one of those transactions, the host or service provider is an independent seller and is the merchant of record for what they offer. They alone are responsible for delivering the activity or service as described. Sum2Do is the platform that connects the two of you. We do not organize, supervise, perform, or guarantee any activity or service. Payments are processed by PayPal, and Sum2Do never takes custody of a buyer's or a seller's money: each payment is made to the seller's own PayPal account, and Sum2Do receives only a platform service fee, which is disclosed before you pay. By paying through the Platform you also agree to PayPal's applicable terms. HELD PAYMENTS For some bookings, your payment is held rather than released to the seller immediately. PayPal holds it; Sum2Do does not. When the host confirms the booking is complete, Sum2Do instructs PayPal to release the payment to the seller. PayPal limits how long a payment can be held. If a held payment has not been released or refunded within 28 days, PayPal releases it to the seller automatically. For that reason, a held booking can only be made when the activity ends within 21 days, which leaves time after it ends for the booking to be confirmed, or for a problem to be raised and refunded, before that limit is reached. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS A host may refund an attendee at any time, and may refund every attendee at once if they cancel the event. If a held booking is cancelled or the service is not delivered, Sum2Do can instruct PayPal to refund the held payment to you in full. Refunds go back to the original payment method and typically appear within 3-10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. DISPUTES If something goes wrong, contact us first at support@sum2do.com or through in-app support. We aim to respond within 24 hours and to resolve most cases within 3 business days. While a payment is still held, we can instruct PayPal to refund it to you. You also keep every right you have with PayPal and your payment provider, including opening a claim with them; PayPal is the final arbiter of any dispute raised through it. Sellers who repeatedly fail to deliver may be suspended or removed under these Terms and our Community Guidelines. FOR SELLERS: PAYPAL SELLER PROTECTION Payments you receive through Sum2Do are processed by PayPal and are subject to PayPal's Seller Protection Program, including its eligibility requirements and the transactions it does not cover, as described in PayPal's User Agreement. Seller Protection does not apply to every transaction, so review it before accepting payments. THE SUM2DO STORE The Sum2Do Store sells physical products fulfilled by third-party suppliers, and is separate from the payments described above. Store purchases are processed by our store payment processor, and products ship directly from our suppliers. Shipping times vary (typically 5-15 business days for US orders). We offer a 30-day return policy for unused, unopened items, refunded to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. We are not responsible for shipping delays, customs fees, or product defects beyond offering replacements or refunds under that policy.
Users may rate and review other users after meetups. Ratings must be honest and based on genuine interactions. Fake reviews, review manipulation, and retaliatory ratings are prohibited and may result in account action.
The Platform, including its design, code, logos, and content, is owned by Sum2Do and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our written permission. Content you post (profile information, messages, reviews) remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it on the Platform. You must not post content, list an activity, or offer a service that infringes anyone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, and you must not offer counterfeit or unauthorized goods or services. REPORTING INFRINGEMENT If you are a rights holder (or authorized to act for one) and believe content on Sum2Do — including anything posted or offered by a seller — infringes your intellectual property, report it to us at legal@sum2do.com, or through the "Intellectual Property / Counterfeit" category at sum2do.com/support. You do not need a Sum2Do account to report. Please include: (1) identification of the work or mark you own; (2) the specific content, listing, or profile you say infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it; (3) your name, address, email, and phone number; (4) a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the rights holder or the law; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your report is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. WHAT WE DO We review every report. We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and to act on valid reports within 3 business days. Where a report is valid we remove or disable the content, notify the seller, and may withhold or reverse related payouts and refund affected buyers. The seller may submit a counter-notice, which we will pass to the reporting party; we may restore content if the dispute is resolved in the seller's favor or no further action is taken. REPEAT INFRINGERS We keep a record of infringement reports against each account. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are permanently terminated and permanently barred from accepting payment on the Platform.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or conduct of any user on or off the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sum2Do shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the Platform or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and delete your account.
Sum2Do offers an SMS one-time passcode (OTP) program for phone-number sign-up and login. If you choose "Continue with phone" and enter your mobile number, you consent to receive a one-time verification code by text message from Sum2Do at the number you provide. Message frequency: Texts are sent only on demand — one message per sign-up or sign-in attempt you initiate. These are transactional account-verification messages. We do not send recurring, promotional, or marketing texts through this program. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get a confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to opt back in. Help: Reply HELP for assistance, or email support@sum2do.com. Carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile number is used only to deliver verification codes and secure your account. We never sell it or share it with third parties for marketing.
